Rentera provides software for property owners and operators to manage rent operations, billing, payments, and communications. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information within the platform.
Rentera acts as a technology platform. Property owners and operators (“Customers”) control the data they enter into the system, including tenant information and billing records. Rentera processes this data on their behalf.
Name, email, phone, company details, and login credentials.
Property, unit, tenant, billing, payment, and communication records entered by Customers.
Rentera facilitates payment links and checkout flows, but payment data is processed directly by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). Rentera does not store full payment credentials.
Logins, activity history, device/browser data, and system logs for performance and security.
We do not sell user data. Data is shared only with:
Rentera is a multi-tenant platform. Each organization’s data is logically isolated and protected through application-level and database-level controls.
Customers retain ownership of their data. Rentera does not claim ownership of property, tenant, or financial records stored in the system.
Data is retained while accounts are active. Upon request, data may be deleted, subject to legal or financial recordkeeping requirements.
We implement reasonable safeguards to protect data. However, no system is completely secure.
